The Fairtrade Label is a “seal of approval” that appears on products that meet internationally agreed Fairtrade standards and hich guarantees to consumers that their purchases will benefit producers, their families and the surrounding communities from the developing countries in which they originate from.  The Fairtrade guarantee to consumers is backed by a certification and trade audit system that applies to all companies in the supply chain up to the point of final packaging.
