Making the perfect pot of Nature's Cuppa
WATER
Never use previously boiled water as its chemical compositions changes. Use ONLY fresh, cold water. Warm the pot with hot water whilst the water is boiling.
PREPARATION
Add one heaped teaspoon per cup/person, plus "one for the pot". Fill pot with boiling water.
Don't be hasty, the darkness of the brew is not an indicator of its strength. Allow between 5-6 minutes for the leaves to open and infuse, bringing the tea to its full flavour and colour.
Once brewed for this time, pour into pre-warmed cups. Over infused tea releases too much tannin and tastes bitter.
Enjoy straight (black) or add milk or lemon to taste.
